April 13, 2018 - Top 5 Finish at Boyd's Speedway
1On Friday night Jimmy Elliott visited Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) competing in a field of 26 Crate Late Models. Following the sixth fastest time in qualifying, Elliott bagged a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Lamar Scoggins positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into the Top-5, Jimmy improved one spot to place 5th behind Cory Hedgecock, Rusty Ballenger, Lamar Scoggins, and Chip Reynolds. .

March 31, 2018 - Runner-up Finish in UCRA Opener at I-75 Raceway
1Saturday night found Jimmy Elliott in action at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) for the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) season opener. Drawing 15 cars for the Spring Loaded Easter 40, Elliott battled with Cory Hedgecock for the top spot throughout the 40-lapper but came up short at the line to place 2nd behind Hedgecock with Ruben Mayfield, Josh Henry, and Anthony White completing the Top-5 finishers.

March 24, 2018 - Jimmy Elliott Captures NeSmith Winter Shootout Title
1Jimmy Elliott traveled to Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) on Friday evening for the final two nights of the NeSmith RockAuto.com Winter Shootout. With 30 Crate Late Models on hand for the Cochran Clash, Elliott recorded the 12th fastest time in qualifying locking his spot into the opening night feature. Holding his spot for all 40-laps, Jimmy Elliott posted a 12th place finish.

Returning on Saturday evening for the $4,000 top prize, Elliott followed up the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group with a 4th place finish in his heat race. Earning the 15th-starting position for the feature, Jimmy improved four spots reeling in an 11th place finish.

With his performance over the weekend, Jimmy Elliott captured the NeSmith RockAuto.com Winter Shootout point’s championship.

February 24, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Bubba Army Winter Nationals Finale
1Thursday evening brought Jimmy Elliott to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) for the opening night of the NeSmith RockAuto.com Winter Shootout sanctioned Bubba Army Winter Nationals.  In a field of 51 Crate Late Models, Elliott logged the 12th fastest time in his qualifying group transferring him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 5 into the opening night feature, Jimmy came up one spot shy with a 4th place finish. Earning a provisional into the A-Main, Elliott advanced through the field 15 positions in the 40-lap affair reeling in a 9th place finish.

On Friday evening after suffering a broken right-rear rotor and caliper in hot-laps, Elliott slipped back to the 17th fastest time in his qualifying group sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 5 out of the B-Main, Elliott bagged a runner-up finish behind Kevin Maher locking him the 18th-starting position for the feature. With $2,000 on the line, Jimmy Elliott improved six spots to place 12th.

Wrapping up the Bubba Army Winter Nationals on Saturday, Elliott followed up the fastest time overall in his group with a 2nd place finish in his heat. Rolling off 8th for the $10,000-to-win finale, Jimmy dropped one spot in the 100-lap affair registering a 9th place finish.

February 3, 2018 - Top 5 Finish in Super Late Model at Boyd's Speedway
1Making his debut in the Super Late Model division, Jimmy Elliott traveled to Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Saturday night for the annual Cabin Fever. With 41 cars on hand for the $3,000 top prize, Elliott timed in second fastest overall in his qualifying group earning him the 3rd-starting position for the feature. Hanging on to a Top-5 finish, Jimmy notched a 5th place spot behind John Ownbey, Cory Hedgecock, Michael Page, and Riley Hickman.

January 7, 2018 - Podium Finish in Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track
1Friday night found Jimmy Elliott in action at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) kicking off the 2018 season with the NeSmith RockAuto.com Winter Shootout sanctioned 27th annual Ice Bowl. Drawing 43 Crate Late Models for the two-day event, Jimmy secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main on Sunday with a heat race victory. Rolling off 4th, Elliott improved one position in the 50-lap affair to place 3rd behind Ronnie Johnson and Michael Page with Jesse Lowe and Andy Picklesimer completing the Top 5 finishers.

January 2, 2018 - Elliott Finishes 2017 Season With Two Wins
The 2017 season saw Jimmy Elliott compete in a total of 32 events where he visited victory lanes twice. Losing five of his scheduled dates Mother Nature, Elliott collected 20 Top-10 outings and 16 Top-5 finishes.

December 30th, 2017 - Top 10 Finish in Hangover at 411 Motor Speedway
1Closing out the 2017 season, Jimmy Elliott headed to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the 8th annual Hangover. In a field of 21 Crate late Models, Elliott secured his spot into the A-Main with the 12th fastest time in qualifying. With $1,500 on the line in the feature, Jimmy improved three spots in the 25-lap affair to place 9th.

November 4th, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Attends Crate Nationals at Volunteer Speedway
1Saturday night brought Jimmy Elliott to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the inaugural Crate Nationals. Competing in a field of 36 Crate Late Models, Elliott secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Vic Hill. Rolling off 8th for the feature, Jimmy fell four spots in the 51-lap affair to place 12th.

October 29th, 2017 - Elliott Lands Top 5 Finish in Craig Reece Memorial at Boyd's
1Jimmy Elliott maneuvered his Car Smart Auto Sales #J39 Elliott’s Tire Center/ Mighty Muffler/ Longhorn Race Car to a fourth-place finish on Sunday evening in the second annual Craig Reece Memorial at Boyd’s Speedway.

“Overall it was a really good day for our team,” Elliott noted. “This was a tough field of cars, so to get a good run so close to the house, we’ll definitely take it. Thanks to my family, my team, and all of my sponsors for helping me stay on top of my game.”

Thirty-five entries converged on the ¼-mile oval on Sunday afternoon for the $3,500-to-win affair, which was delayed a day by Mother Nature. With the top eight in qualifying locking into the feature, Jimmy registered the fifth-fastest lap to earn the fifth-starting spot for the finale.

In the feature Elliott enjoyed a solid run, and would cross the finish line in the fourth position behind Ross White, John Ownbey, and Walker Arthur.

October 21st, 2017 - Podium Finish With UCRA Series at Crossville Speedway
1Kicking off the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) doubleheader, Jimmy Elliott was one of 26 Crate Late Models signed in at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Friday night. Laying down the eighth fastest time in qualifying, Elliott earned the 8th-starting position for the opening night feature. Falling short of a Top 10 finish, Jimmy slipped back to an 18th place outing.

Returning on Saturday for another $2,500-to-win A-Main, Elliott followed up the fourth fastest time in qualifying with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jesse Lowe. Rolling off 4th for the A-Main, Jimmy improved two spots to place 2nd behind Ronnie Johnson with Chip Brindle, Rusty Ballenger, and Greg Martin completing the Top 5 finishers.

October 14th, 2017 - Pair of Top 10 Finishes With NeSmith Series at TST
1On Friday night Jimmy Elliott headed to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned NASCAR weekend. With 42 Crate Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Elliott came up one spot short of a transfer spot into the opening night feature with the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group. Rolling off on the pole of his B-Main, Jimmy coasted to a 15-lap consolation victory positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Moving up one spot, Jimmy Elliott landed an 8th place finish.

The following night for the $2,500 top prize, Elliott logged the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 7 into the show, Jimmy recorded a 4th place finish earning him the 15th-starting position for the finale. Breaking into the Top 10, Jimmy Elliott gained five spots in the 50-lap affair notching a 10th place finish.

October 7th, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Visits I-75 for Larry Kyle Memorial
1Jimmy Elliott returned with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) on Saturday night at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) for the Larry Kyle Memorial. After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Jimmy slipped back to a 16th place outing in 40-lap A-Main.
