November 28th, 2017 - Elliott Finishes 2017 Season With Two Wins
The 2017 season saw Jimmy Elliott compete in a total of 31 events where he visited victory lanes twice. Losing five of his scheduled dates Mother Nature, Elliott collected 19 Top-10 outings and 16 Top-5 finishes.

November 4th, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Attends Crate Nationals at Volunteer Speedway
1Saturday night brought Jimmy Elliott to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the inaugural Crate Nationals. Competing in a field of 36 Crate Late Models, Elliott secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Vic Hill. Rolling off 8th for the feature, Jimmy fell four spots in the 51-lap affair to place 12th.

October 29th, 2017 - Elliott Lands Top 5 Finish in Craig Reece Memorial at Boyd's
1Jimmy Elliott maneuvered his Car Smart Auto Sales #J39 Elliott’s Tire Center/ Mighty Muffler/ Longhorn Race Car to a fourth-place finish on Sunday evening in the second annual Craig Reece Memorial at Boyd’s Speedway.

“Overall it was a really good day for our team,” Elliott noted. “This was a tough field of cars, so to get a good run so close to the house, we’ll definitely take it. Thanks to my family, my team, and all of my sponsors for helping me stay on top of my game.”

Thirty-five entries converged on the ¼-mile oval on Sunday afternoon for the $3,500-to-win affair, which was delayed a day by Mother Nature. With the top eight in qualifying locking into the feature, Jimmy registered the fifth-fastest lap to earn the fifth-starting spot for the finale.

In the feature Elliott enjoyed a solid run, and would cross the finish line in the fourth position behind Ross White, John Ownbey, and Walker Arthur.

October 21st, 2017 - Podium Finish With UCRA Series at Crossville Speedway
1Kicking off the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) doubleheader, Jimmy Elliott was one of 26 Crate Late Models signed in at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Friday night. Laying down the eighth fastest time in qualifying, Elliott earned the 8th-starting position for the opening night feature. Falling short of a Top 10 finish, Jimmy slipped back to an 18th place outing.

Returning on Saturday for another $2,500-to-win A-Main, Elliott followed up the fourth fastest time in qualifying with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jesse Lowe. Rolling off 4th for the A-Main, Jimmy improved two spots to place 2nd behind Ronnie Johnson with Chip Brindle, Rusty Ballenger, and Greg Martin completing the Top 5 finishers.

October 14th, 2017 - Pair of Top 10 Finishes With NeSmith Series at TST
1On Friday night Jimmy Elliott headed to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned NASCAR weekend. With 42 Crate Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Elliott came up one spot short of a transfer spot into the opening night feature with the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group. Rolling off on the pole of his B-Main, Jimmy coasted to a 15-lap consolation victory positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Moving up one spot, Jimmy Elliott landed an 8th place finish.

The following night for the $2,500 top prize, Elliott logged the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 7 into the show, Jimmy recorded a 4th place finish earning him the 15th-starting position for the finale. Breaking into the Top 10, Jimmy Elliott gained five spots in the 50-lap affair notching a 10th place finish.

October 7th, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Visits I-75 for Larry Kyle Memorial
1Jimmy Elliott returned with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) on Saturday night at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) for the Larry Kyle Memorial. After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Jimmy slipped back to a 16th place outing in 40-lap A-Main.
