October 14th, 2017 - Pair of Top 10 Finishes With NeSmith Series at TST
1On Friday night Jimmy Elliott headed to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned NASCAR weekend. With 42 Crate Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Elliott came up one spot short of a transfer spot into the opening night feature with the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group. Rolling off on the pole of his B-Main, Jimmy coasted to a 15-lap consolation victory positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Moving up one spot, Jimmy Elliott landed an 8th place finish.

The following night for the $2,500 top prize, Elliott logged the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 7 into the show, Jimmy recorded a 4th place finish earning him the 15th-starting position for the finale. Breaking into the Top 10, Jimmy Elliott gained five spots in the 50-lap affair notching a 10th place finish.

October 7th, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Visits I-75 for Larry Kyle Memorial
1Jimmy Elliott returned with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) on Saturday night at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) for the Larry Kyle Memorial. After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Jimmy slipped back to a 16th place outing in 40-lap A-Main.

September 23rd, 2017 - Elliott Attends Alabama State Championship at EAMS
1Saturday night brought Jimmy Elliott to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) competing in a field of 46 Crate Late Models for the 46th annual Alabama State Championships. Timing in eleventh fastest in his qualifying group, Elliott transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Sending the Top 4 into the show, Jimmy landed a 3rd place finish positioning him 22nd on the starting grid for the feature. With 50-laps to gain some ground, Jimmy Elliott logged a 23rd place outing.

September 15th, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Visits Crossville for UCRA Event
1On Friday night Jimmy Elliott invaded Crossville Raceway (Crossville, Tennessee) for the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) sanctioned program. Laying down the fourteenth fastest time in a field of 23 Crate Late Models, Elliot earned the 14th-staritng position for the $2,500-to-win A-Main. Coming one spot shy of a Top 10 finish, Jimmy gained three spots in the 40-lapper recording an 11th place finish.

September 4th, 2017 - Elliott Rallies From the Tail of the Field at Tri-County
1Competing in the lone Labor Day event, Jimmy Elliott traveled to Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) on Monday evening for the Labor Day Triple Threat. After issues with his brakes prevented him from making it out for his qualifying session, Elliot rallied from the tail of the field in the feature to place 4th.

August 26th, 2017 - Podium Finish at Smoky Mountain Speedway
1Jimmy Elliott visited Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Saturday night competing in the Crate Late Model ranks. Bringing home a podium finish in the feature, Elliott posted a 3rd place spot behind Cory Hedgecock and Kyle Courtney with Bradley Lewelling and Jason Melton completing the Top 5 finishers.

August 12th, 2017 - Engine Issues Cuts Short Elliott's Night at Blue Ridge
1Saturday night found Jimmy Elliot return to action at Blue Ridge Motorsports Park (Blue Ridge, Georgia) for the $1,500-to-win Crate Late Model special. After laying down the fastest time overall in qualifying, Elliott posted a 2nd place finish in the Dash positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the A-Main. Challenging for the lead early, Jimmy was an early retiree from the feature after he experienced overheating issues while closing in on the top spot.

July 3rd, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Follows NeSmith Series Over Fourth of July Weekend
1After two consecutive rainouts to open the Fourth of July weekend, Jimmy Elliott traveled to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Sunday for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series opener. Drawing 37 Crate Late Models for the Salute to America Nationals, Elliott timed in sixth fastest in his group sending him into the B-Main. Reeling in a 3rd place finish, Jimmy earned the 18th-starting spot for the $2,500-to-win A-Main. After completing the opening 10 laps on a very rough track, Jimmy Elliott decided to withdraw from the final 40 circuits to save his equipment.  

Monday night saw Elliott stop at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the $2,000 top prize. With 38 NeSmith entries on hand, Jimmy slipped back to the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group sending him into the consolation event. Charging to a B-Main win, Elliott rolled off 12th for the feature. Working his way into the Top 5, Jimmy advanced through the field seven spots recording a 5th place finish behind Cory Hedgecock, Jake Knowles, Brad Berry, and Austin Horton.

June 17th, 2017 - Top 5 Finish in UCRA Event at Smoky Mountain Speedway
1Following the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA), Jimmy Elliott headed to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Big Daddy 500. In a field of 21 Crate Late Models, Elliott followed up the sixth fastest time in qualifying with 2nd place finish in his heat race. Earning the 6th-starting position for the $2,500-to-win A-Main, Jimmy moved up two spots scoring a 4th place finish behind Anthony White, Jesse Lowe, and Forrest Trent with Cruz Skinner coming in 5th.

May 29th, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Visits Duck River and Volunteer Speedway Over Memorial Day Weekend
1Jimmy Elliott opened the Memorial Day Weekend on Sunday night Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) to a field of 20 Crate Late Models. Coming short of a Top 10 finish in the feature, Elliott slipped back to a 15th place outing when the checkered flag flew.

1On Monday Elliott stopped at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the Freedom Isn't Free 50. Battling in a field of 24 cars, Jimmy dropped back late in the A-Main to place 22nd.

May 20th, 2017 - Podium Finish in UCRA Show at Tazewell Speedway
1Back with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) series, Jimmy Elliott was one of 22 Crate Late Models signed in at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Raz-May-Taz 40. Following the third fastest time overall in qualifying, Elliott went on to capture a heat race win positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the feature. With $2,500 on the line, Jimmy Elliott gained more and more momentum as the race went on although winded up 3rd due to the weather shortening the race to only 27-laps. He trailed Anthony White and Philip Thompson across the finish line with Josh Henry and Jordon Horton rounding out the Top 5.

May 13th, 2017 - Elliott Follows UCRA Series to Fort Payne at Boyd's
1Making his first start of the season with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) series, Jimmy Elliott made the trip to Fort Payne Motor Speedway (Fyffe, Alabama) on Friday night for the $2,500 top prize. Earning the 4th-starting spot for the feature via qualifying, Jimmy jumped up one spot in the 40-lapper posting a 3rd place finish behind Kasey Hall and Jason Manley with Kyle Courtney and Sam Seawright rounding out the Top 5.

On Saturday the UCRA series picked back up at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) for another $2,500-to-win A-Main. After timing in fastest overall in qualifying, Elliott was running in 2nd in the final 10 laps of the A-Main until he broke an axle ending his night abruptly.

April 29th, 2017 - Runner-up Finish for Elliott in Scott Sexton Memorial at Bulls Gap
1Jimmy Elliott returned to action on Friday night at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the Scott Sexton Memorial. Registering the sixth fastest time overall in a field of 30 Crate Late Models, Elliott rolled off on the third row for the feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Jimmy notched a 2nd place finish behind Jason Trammell with Matt Henderson, Gary Crittenden, and Benji Hicks completing the Top 5.

1The following night Elliott headed to Blue Ridge Motorsports Park (Blue Ridge, Georgia) for the regular night of racing. After destroying his right rear in hot laps, Elliott and his team were able to get him back on the track for qualifying to register the second fastest time overall. After taking command of the lead for a few laps in the feature, Jimmy suffered issues with his radiator late in the race bringing an early end to his night.

April 8th, 2017 - Top 5 Finish for Elliott at North Georgia Speedway
1Piloting the Stealth Racing Carburetors #J39 Crate Late Model, Jimmy Elliott invaded North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) on Saturday night for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. After slipping up in qualifiying and forced to start near the back of the feature, Elliott worked his way up to a 4th place finish trailing Jeff Smith, Chip Brindle, and Kyle Courtney across the finish line with Jesse Lowe coming in 5th.

March 11th, 2017 - Jimmy Elliott Grabs a Pair of Top 10 Finishes in Winter Shootout at Cochran Motor Speedway
1On Friday evening Jimmy Elliott visited Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) for the NeSmith RockAuto.com Winter Shootout sanctioned weekend. With 37 Crate Late Models signed in, Elliott registered the third fastest time overall in qualifying locking his spot into the $2,000-to-win opening night feature. Rolling off 3rd, Jimmy worked his way into 2nd early but fell back to a 3rd place finish when the checkered flag flew trailing Mike Pegher Jr. and Kyle Bronson across the finish line with Forrest Trent and Mark Whitener rounding out the Top 5.

Returning on Saturday for the $5,000-to-win show, Elliott fell one position short of a transfer spot in his heat with a 4th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the finale, Jimmy secured his spot with a 2nd place finish. Earning the 16th-starting position, Jimmy Elliott charged through the field nine spots in the 60-lapper to place 7th.

1Jimmy Elliott traveled to North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) on Saturday night competing in the Crate Late Model division. Starting the night off by recording the quickest time in qualifying, Elliott rolled off on the pole for the main event. Storming to the front in the opening laps of the feature, Jimmy cruised to his second-straight victory in his Longhorn Chassis #39 Crate Late Model with Chip Brindle, Will Roland, Christian Hanger, and Larry Higgins completing the Top 5 finishers.

November 6th, 2016 - Jimmy Elliott Competes in National 100 at EAMS
1Piloting the Elliott’s Tire Center #J39 Crate Late Model, Jimmy Elliott invaded East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Saturday night for the 42nd Annual National 100. With 42 Crate Late Models signed in for the two-day event, Elliott failed to secure his spot into the show via qualifying but landed a runner-up finish behind Kyle Bronson in his B-Main locking him into the $5,000-to-win main event on Sunday. Moving up six positions in the 50-lapper, Jimmy Elliott reeled in a 13th place finish.

October 29th, 2016 - Top 5 Finish for Elliott in Craig Reece Memorial at Boyd's
1Running in the inaugural Craig Reece Memorial, Jimmy Elliott made the trip to Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Saturday night for the unsanctioned event. Drawing a stout field of 48 Crate Late Models, Elliott followed up the 5th fastest time overall in qualifying with heat race victory locking his spot into the main event. With $3,500 on the line in the feature, Jimmy was running in a podium spot until slipping back to a 4th place finish late in the 35-lapper trailing Cory Hedgecock, Jeff Smith, and Ronnie Johnson across the finish line with John Owenby coming in 5th.

October 22nd, 2016 - Elliott Places in Top 10 in First Night of NASCAR Weekend at TST
1On Friday night Jimmy Elliott headed to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned two-day event. Drawing 50 Crate Late Models for the NASCAR Weekend, Elliott landed a Top 10 finish in the opening night A-Main. Battling for a $2,000 payday, Jimmy posted a 10th place finish in the 40-lap feature.

Returning on Saturday, Elliott transferred into one of three consolation events after failing to secure his spot into the show via qualifying. Scoring a consolation win, Jimmy locked is spot into the $2,500-to-win A-Main. Starting near the back, Jimmy Elliott registered a 23rd place outing in the 50-lapper.

October 8th, 2016 - Podium Finish for Elliott at Fort Payne Motor Speedway
1Competing in the inaugural Crate Invitational Classix, Jimmy Elliott traveled to Fort Payne Motor Speedway (Fort Payne, Alabama) on Saturday night for the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) sanctioned program. In a field of 19 Crate Late Models, Jimmy secured the 6th-starting position for the main event after laying down the 6th fastest time in qualifying. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Elliott improved three spots posting a 3rd place finish behind Sam Seawright and Ethan Hunter with Robert Gant and Casey Hall completing the Top 5 finishers.

September 17th, 2016 - Elliott Follows UCRA Series
1Running with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA), Jimmy Elliott traveled to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Friday night for the $2,500-to-win A-Main. Timing in 11th fastest in a field of 30 cars, Elliott scored 2nd place finish in his heat earning him the 7th-starting position for the feature. 1Powering the Elliott Tire Sales #J39 Crate Late Model, Jimmy Elliott visited North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) on Saturday night for the Powerball Challenge. After slipping up in qualifying and posting the 9th fastest time, Elliott received the pole-position for the feature after drawing the number 9. Hanging on to a Top 5 finish, Jimmy posted a 4th place finish behind Jeff Smith, Chip Brindle, and Jason Deal with Will Rowland coming in 5th.

December 28th, 2015 - Jimmy Elliotts Records Two Wins in Crate Late Model
Competing in a total of thirty events during the 2015 season, Jimmy Elliott reeled in two wins in his #J39 Crate Late Model. With the weather affecting six of his scheduled dates, Elliott retired fifteen top ten finishes and twelve top five outings. Jimmy will have some exciting news to reveal later on in the 2016 season along with his first scheduled event January 7th at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the 25th Annual Ice Bowl.
